Everyone, including you and me, have sinned and do not live up to God's expectations. Romans 3:23
The only payment for our sin is death. This does not mean just in body, but more importantly our soul. God, himself can only pay this debt. Without Jesus, we must pay the debt in Hell, known as the second death.Romans 6:23
There is nothing we can do to earn the gift of God, Jesus did it all at Calvary. There is NOTHING we can do; no works, infant baptism, Lord's Supper, tongues; NOTHING! For if we could, we would have the right to go around Heaven saying "Look what I did".Ephesians 2:8,9
To receive the gift all you need to do is ask and believe Jesus died on the cross for all your sins, no matter how bad you think you were.Matthew 7:7,8
To ask Jesus to save you from a firery Hell pray a prayer like this:
Lord Jesus,
I know I am a sinner and know that you are the only one who can save me from this condition. I believe you are God, made flesh, and took on my sin at Calvary. Forgive me Lord and enter in my heart, save me and lead me to a Bible believing local church. Thank you Lord for being merciful on me and saving me from eternity in Hell.Romans 10:13
